Three modes of one 80-element array. Flip the toggle to try each.
- Width 60°–300° · front/back
Four independent pickup cones, from a tight pencil to a full room.
- Steer 60° beam · ±30° rated, ±90° max
Aims a constant beam electronically in 15° steps, rated to ±30°, with reach to ±90° when the shot demands it. No gimbal, no motor, no operator.
- Stereo Mirrored pair · ±15–30°
A matched partner beam, splayed equally either side of centre. You set how wide it splays, not where it points.

The cone widens or tightens without steering - you’re changing how much it hears, not where it points. Each of the four channels faces front or back.

Pitch coverage
You track the ball. It aims the mic.
Twelve arrays in the same positions as your current shotgun rig. Your tracking software picks the array and sends the steer angle; it aims a 60° beam there while every other array holds four-channel cover.
This demo is illustrative. Konos Digital aims its beam on a steer command through a control API; your tracking software supplies the target.
Every channel its own beam.
Konos Digital streams four channels of network audio at once. Set each channel's beam width and point it front or back - four independent pickups from one mic, all on the wire together.
This is width mode - the four cones below are set independently, so one mic can hold a tight target and a wide room bed at the same time.
Stereo mode
One mic. True stereo.
One toggle in steer mode mirrors the beam across the forward axis - two simultaneous acoustic beams straddling centre, not a channel split. Splay them ±15° to ±30° and talkers pan as they move around the mic, from one 80-element array on one cable.
Perfectly matched channels
Both beams are formed from the same array, so beam width, frequency response and gain are identical - channel matching no two-capsule stereo mic can offer.
Zero inter-channel skew
The pair is computed in lockstep and lands in the same sample frame. L/R time alignment is exact by construction, not trimmed in post.

Remote pattern changes without microphone repositioning
Open, close or steer the beam from the control app; nobody climbs to move a mic.

A matched pair of simultaneous beams from the one array - identical width and gain, sample-aligned L/R, mirrored about the forward axis.
Targeting integration with tracking systems for live sport
Your tracking software supplies the steer angle; the beam follows the action on command.
